The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition is an annual event held in all Australian University. It is a good way of practicing presenting our thesis that is so complex, especially to lay audience in simple terms. Every participant has 3 minutes to present their work and there are various levels (faculty, university, national etc) that we can compete. I was lucky to be able to participate at the faculty level. Although I did not win the competition, it was a good experience for me as I am now more confident in presenting my work. The title of my talk is “Mapping the Evolution of Earth 1000 times faster!”, which focused on classifying large satellite image time series dataset under a short time.
